Frequently Asked Questions
When Should I register?
Short Answer is ASAP. Registration for Spring Season opens January 1st. It is very imperative to sign up early so we can ensure the participant is added to the tryout and draft sheets if they are in an older division. There is NO registrations after the registration end date which can be found
here. Anyone that registers after that date will NOT be added to a team unless there is an opening in that division whether they are a returner or new participant. Returners are NOT guaranteed a spot unless they sign up prior to registration closing. Once we hit our limit for that division, we can close down a division prior to the registration closing date. So, it is imperative to get your children registered ASAP once registration opens on January 1.

Do I need any paperwork to register my child?
To finish the registration process you do not have to have the residency paperwork but it MUST be uploaded shortly after or paper copies handed to your manager. This paperwork is required for league verification as well as All Stars. If your child is selected to all stars it is much easier and smoother if all the paperwork is already uploaded or handed in and we aren't scrambling around later in the season.

Where will games be played?
In order to give our kids the most opportunities to learn and grow and avoid only playing one or two teams over and over, both baseball and softball games are played throughout the district. Most games in the Spring season will take place in either Elkton, North East, or Chesapeake City. Currently T-Ball and Minor B Baseball only play at Elkton during the spring season..
Fall Season Baseball & Softball games also travel and play throughout the all District 5 teams. Each weekend, one town in the district will host all games for that weekend. The host for each weekend rotates on a weekly basis.
